Alex is the founder and clinical director of Switch Dental, a practice built around a simple goal: to make dentistry clearer, calmer, and more empowering for patients. He believes people make the best decisions for themselves when they have the right information, and he designed the Switch experience to move away from rushed appointments and one-size-fits-all care. Instead, he focuses on education, empathy, and structured support, helping patients understand their options and feel confident at every step.
While Alex continues to oversee a broad range of care, his main focus is on complex treatment. This includes placing and restoring dental implants, smile design, surgical care, and cases that benefit from wider planning and digital workflows. He enjoys taking complex situations and translating them into clear, easy to follow treatment plans.
Alongside his clinical work, Alex also helps shape the systems and direction of the practice. He works closely with the team to make sure Switch continues to deliver care that is consistent, thoughtful, and centred on each patient’s needs.
When he is not at the clinic, Alex is usually immersed in something active or creative. He plays and teaches badminton, and also enjoys snowboarding, dance, and music. He likes understanding how things work and improving through practice, a mindset that shows up both in his hobbies and in the way he approaches dentistry.
